Most of my Intranet scripts and just simple automation thingies were written in Perl from DB synchronization,data maintenance; can&#039;t imagine myself living without it in the office!]]></description>

It&#039;s wonderfully expressive and organic, and I&#039;ve used it for everything from writing a high performance SMTP email blaster (150-200K emails per hour in pure Perl!) to full web sites, and everything in between. I&#039;ve also done projects for Windows and Linux. I have friends that can&#039;t understand my preference for Perl and think it&#039;s becoming more niche today, but I heartily disagree with that contention.]]></description>
